A lot of you may know that we have been wishing hoping praying to get published in a travel magazine. So we put it up on our 30 before 30 list. We asked for a lot of advice and tips on how to sell your story to a publisher. We even begged a few friends to help us get our soles in the door of travel publications.
But life sometimes has a wicked sense of humor.
Just when we were about to give up on that dream, we get an email asking us to write an article for - ehem - Cebu Pacific Smile inflight magazine. To say we were elated would be an understatement. We screamed, bounced off walls and had a smile on our faces for weeks! That's how important it was to us.
And when the article was finally published, we couldn't believe our eyes. It was beautiful.

Hi! I was able to read your story while in cebu pacific air bus going back home from Manila just this evening. I memorized your web address and....here I am! Congratulations to you both! I wish I could travel just like yours. Now, I envy your achievement for having started it at a young age and able to gradually checked/deleted an item/s on your list as you move on towards 3-0.

Hi. I got the chance to read your article in Smile Magazine during my flight bound for Hong Kong via Cebu Pacific. Three words: I LOVE IT!
