What's Inside the 2012 Belle de Jour Power Planner
Thursday, November 03, 2011CONTEST CLOSED
Please see winners at bottom of this post
I love little notebooks, planners and organizers. They make me smile. I love scribbling down little notes that reminds forgetful me about random things that happened in my day. I have a few years worth of old planners that I couldn't throw out just because I still flip through pages when I'm feeling nostalgic and want to know what the younger me was up to on the same day, a few years back.
Now that I finally got a copy of the 2012 BDJ Planner, I can't wait to give you a sneak peak of what's inside. Here's what I liked about next year's edition:
Please feel free to use the share buttons below and tell all your friends! Everyone should get their chance to win a FREE Belle de Jour Planner.
Update: Winners have been chosen! Congratulations to Kathrine Favis (facebook), Charmaigne Gepana (twitter) and drunkenlily (blog). Please email us your mailing address to solesisters.weare(at)gmail.com no later than Nov 18, 2011. Planners will be shipped within the Philippines. Thanks to everyone who joined this promo.

That's why I was really excited when Belle de Jour emailed us a few months ago asking us to speak at their launch. And what better topic and theme than Travel and Take Flight! My first thought was, are they giving us planners? I was already thinking of what the 2012 planner would look like and what goodies, discounts and fun pages are in it.
Of course we said yes to the talk. We look forward to every opportunity to talk about our number 1 passion: Travel! We enjoy talking to people about how travel can change your life. We felt privileged to be selected as one of the speakers alongside celebrity stylist Alyanna Martinez who talked about shopping in different places, Carelle Mangaliag of Train Station who shared secrets in unlocking treasures through the journey of life through love and empowerment and the ultra chic Divine Lee who inspired the girls with her time-tested style tips on what to wear when in transit.
Now that I finally got a copy of the 2012 BDJ Planner, I can't wait to give you a sneak peak of what's inside. Here's what I liked about next year's edition:
- The Belle de Jour Lifestyle card. This year, they're not just giving away coupons. They're also giving you a membership card to gain access to all BDJ events throughout 2012.
-Dreamboard. It all starts with a DREAM. Just like our once-in-a-lifetime 6-month backpacking trip around India and Southeast Asia. Our plans of sharing our travel story with Filipinos. Driving cross country in the US during wintertime with some snow chains. Even the hope of someday traveling solo. They're all big dreams. I love that the 2012 BDJ Planner starts with a Dreamboard page for you to create a collage of your goals and dreams for the coming year.
-Checklist. Get to know a beautiful stranger. Lose 10 pounds. Make money from something you're good at. These are just a few items on the checklist to help you get started.
-Checklist. Get to know a beautiful stranger. Lose 10 pounds. Make money from something you're good at. These are just a few items on the checklist to help you get started.
-We Heart Pinas. The BDJ Team dedicated an entire section to highlight the country's top destinations. Discover amazing scenic treasure that every bella must visit. We love that they took the time to promote local tourism. We heart Pinas so much that next year we're cooking up a 21 Day No Flights Philippine Challenge.
-Global Staples. This section is especially made fore Bellas who have itchy soles just like us. We want to travel and see the world. So we should know what are the basic clothes and accessories to bring for those perfect travel snapshots. We can't bring an entire closet on our trips, so we need pack only a few of the essentials.
I won't give too much away. You'll just have to see the rest of the good stuff for yourselves. We're gonna make that happen by raffling off not just one, but THREE Belle de Jour Power Planners. Here's how you can grab yourself a copy:
On Facebook:
Post your fave link from http://www.wearesolesisters.com/ on our wall and a few words why you liked it. Every wall post counts as an entry and we will choose the winner randomly.
On Twitter:
Tweet your fave link and mention @WeRSoleSisters. Every tweet will be considered an entry. Only one winner will be chosen.
On the blog:
Just comment below with a title of a post that you would like to see on Sole Sisters. For example: 10 Ways to Eliminate Boredom While Traveling. Please think of the most original and interesting title. We might just write that post. Or better yet, we can invite you to guest post for us! Also just one winner chosen from the comments.
You may post an entry for all 3 options but you can only win ONCE. All winners will be announced through Twitter and our facebook page by November 7, 2011. We will be able to ship within the Philippines only. Good luck Bellas! For more info on the 2012 Belle de Jour Power Planner, visit their official website.
